As teenagers, we understand the importance of skincare (and all of the aesthetically pleasing products). In the winter, it’s super important to remember to cleanse and moisturize in order to keep your skin healthy. Here are some of the products I use to keep my skin clear and healthy, and some of these may even work for you!
The first step I do is to cleanse and exfoliate. I use the Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser everyday to cleanse, and the Lush Ocean Salt scrub every couple of days or once a week to exfoliate and get rid of any dead skin cells.
Once my skin is free of any dirt, my next step is to tone. I like to use the Milk Makeup Matcha Toner and Mario Badescu Rose Water to tone my face. The reason I like these products is because for most toners you have to put them on a cotton pad first, and who doesn’t love to save time in their skincare routine by using sticks and sprays?
Though I only do this about once a week, recently I’ve been loving using peel off masks once I tone to lock in moisture and really tighten/cleanse my pores. Some of my favorites are this Magnet Mask by Dr. Brandt, and the Glamglow #Glittermask. They both leave your skin feeling super smooth and tight, and are actually really satisfying to peel off ;).
Once I’ve either taken off my mask or finished toning, I use serums/oils to moisturize and purify. The two that I have are the Farsali 24k Rose Gold Elixir and the Glossier Super Pure Serum. I’m currently just using the glossier one because it is for acne, and it absorbs into my skin really fast and doesn’t leave me feeling really oily once I put it on.
My last step is to moisturize, and this is even more important in the winter when my skin in drier. To moisturize, I’ve been loving the Tatcha Water Cream because it is really lightweight but at the same time leaves my skin feeling super rich and glowy. Though it is a bit more pricey, I think that it’s really worth it if moisturizing is an important step in your skincare routine.
So, those are all of the products I use in my daily skincare routine, I hope you enjoyed and comment what other kinds of posts you want to see! (also remember to check out our social media links hehe)
